Camilo Martinez is a Colombian-American artist and musician based in Miami. Working across painting, murals, and narrative-driven series, his practice merges pop surrealism with symbolic figuration to explore identity, inner conflict, and transformation.

Structured around recurring characters, he develops a visual language centered on masking, reconstruction, and the search for self after rupture. Each piece functions as part of a larger narrative, where color, gesture, and composition operate as psychological states.

Following a period of burnout and the loss of his studio in a fire, Martinez’s practice shifted toward themes of resilience, reinvention, and clarity. Through Funkydisonante Studio, he continues to produce original works and large-scale projects that position painting as both narrative and system.
