My latest work is collected under Tales of Joe Hueso Part II, and was created for my latest Solo Exhibit on July 22- August 05 presenting my newest line of work to Barranquilla, Colombia.
The New Palette shows a warm bold intensity, as the transformation into a true color takes place.

December 2021 Funkydisonante’s studio caught fire and took down all the collection. It burned down the studio to ashes.
The Melted Trooper is the only Painting that survived Funkydisonante's Studio's Fire.
Days After The fire funkydisonante numbed with the pain with a piece of charcoal from the ashes of his studio, started salvaging a canvas and some paint and started painting again his collection.

In 2021 Camilo worked on “Tales of Joe Hueso” developing “Bones and Saints” first to extend the body of work, now with a fresh blend between pop culture icons, and his original characters.
Determined to do art while creating burnout awareness, launched his latest collection Tales Of Joe Hueso, with the Melted Trooper as the main piece and released his first drop in December 2021.

Camilo’s first art collection after a 7 year hiatus, this time brought back his signature big-eyed portraits, and later introducing Joe Hueso as his main character into the light.
In his Process He let the energy take the control of the brush, and at the beat of jazz and rock tunes, Camilo was able to capture hundreds of portraits .
Origins
Born in 1978 in Barranquilla, Colombia.
Had a passion for music, illustration and technology from an early age. Join his first rock band at age 13 as the bass player.
Founded Rocksito with his bandmates from Barranquilla and recorded their debut album ‘Para no olvidarte’. (Spotify Selft-title Album Rocksito). Gaining popularity in mayor cities of Colombia.
2004 Joined Colombian Rock band Los de Adentro for the tour Volver A Amar as their bass player.
In 2008 released Rocksito’s self-titled debut Album. Listen on Spotify
Did his first group exhibit at age 17 in Livonia , NY called Expressions, a collection of photography and big eyed faces. This time his style started to develop using the big eyes as the voice of the characters.
Finish Business and moved to The capital, Founded his Design Studio, doing work for record labels and artists and latter focusing on ecommerce.
Always Sketching everywhere and painting anything. Painting self portraits of characters of himself and his bandmates.
