Helping children understand emotions through art, storytelling, and creativity.

El Color Que Elijo is an original illustrated children's book by Camilo Martinez that explores emotional intelligence, mental health, resilience, empathy, identity, and self-expression through the symbolic world of Joe Hueso.

Created as part of an ongoing mental health advocacy initiative, the project uses engaging illustrations and storytelling to encourage conversations about bullying, anxiety, self-esteem, friendship, kindness, and emotional well-being. Designed for children, families, educators, therapists, and schools, the book provides a creative way to help young readers identify emotions and build healthy coping skills.
